Have you ever heard of psychedelic arts? Is this the first time you've ever heard of it or maybe if you’re a raver or a frequent clubber, you might've heard of this term. Anyway, for those who don’t know, psychedelic art is an art inspired by a mind that is under the influence of drugs such as LSD, ecstasy, mescaline and others or influenced by alcoholic substances. This is a state of mind which is termed as psychedelic experience.

Psychedelic Art is a relatively new form that some artists use these days to express themselves. Psychedelic arts are often used as backdrops in clubs or concerts, concert posters, psychedelic art posters and flyers, album covers, comics, underground newspapers, music magazines and others. Some people might have come across this type of art but they didn’t realize it’s a psychedelic art.
Psychedelic arts used as backdrops can be seen at concerts and in clubs. UV Backdrops are usually found in clubs, especially in rave and trance clubs. What’s so special about these UV backdrops? Psychedelic artwork which converted into UV backdrops comes alive when it’s under the ultra violet (UV) lights.

Apart from backdrops, another place where psychedelic artworks are often used are T-shirts. Usually, these T-shirts are for clubbers, ravers and trance people. This is by far the widest and the biggest translated form of psychedelic arts. Psy-Trance Clubwear is an example of psychedelic art based T-shirts and apparel.
Ultraviolet psychedelic art work is perfect for those in a psychedelic trance or wishing to achieve that state. For those hippies out there it's to sit back with some hippie music to start the journey to meet the hippie goddess. For all others this is fantasy art work so you must love the playful mischievous joke that is the world of the garden folk. So you wish to connect with the inner spirit that lingers everywhere. Give your mind a colour chemical focus and accept the gift of escapism as you are drawn gently away with a spirit guide. As your mind connects to your painting and the vibe of your chosen spirit, feel yourself transcend the bonds of day to day life, giving that piece of mind through mind over mood. No Jedi mind trick, no mind control - just surrender to the alchemy of colour and experience mind body and soul in balance. Open your heart and go on a journey of light. I love psychedelic arts. My computer is flooding with backdrops and drawings i just saved from Erowid and Deviantart.. I also draw a little, and I love doing it under the influence of large amounts of Cannabis and psychedelic ambient, chill, etc.

I would consider most of them rather psychedelic, and all of them are UV-active.
