Many of you might be unfamiliar with the musical act Ambientium, which came from nowhere and released a stunning excursion into the realms of psychedelic electronica with 'Fractal Philosophy' in February 2009. I got the opportunity to sit down with the man behind this intriguing act, and this is what it produced.

Yosi Shamay, Resident Mad Psyentist that has made an impact on the Chillout world like cyclotrimethylene trinitramine. His embodiment of the Psychedelia in his music is indicative of the progeny of a great time past. It's no wonder he has quickly moved into the realms of some of the greatest Psy artists today. Akasha Project is a musical venture of the sound artist Barnim Schultze. The first tracks appeared in 1996 and '97 on various compilations. In 1998 his first album as an artist: "MDMA Tuning" appeared, developed in collaboration with the music researcher Hans Cousto. Since this time Akasha Project has dealt exclusively with tones drawn from nature and their effects, working closely with Cousto - the discoverer of the planetary, molecular and atomic sound frequencies.

Gabriel Descoutieras, also known as DJ Zen and Astral Waves, is the inspirational man behind not only his artist persona's, but the very successful new Chill label Altar Records, that has put itself on the map with the epic Elements various artists series. His innovation has only begun, and the potency of his and his labels releases is only getting stronger. With the release of the 4th edition “Earth” looming I had the chance to ask him about what he has in store for us.
