Swati is a world music and Indian classical artist whose name may not be instantly recognisable to the general public. However, Swati’s voice is probably more familiar to you than you realise. As well as collaborations with Asian Underground giants Nitin Sawnhey, Talvin Singh and Tabla Beat Science’s Zakir Hussain, she was also the vocalist on Jakatta’s chill out classic “American Dream”.
